Programs

SMM has offered training in Lay Ministry, a “Christian Foundations” study course. As part of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa, SMM is able to participate in training programs offered by the Diocese. For example, members of SMM have taken Pastoral Care Training and trained as Licensed Lay Readers.

FAITH-BASED BOOK CLUB  10:30 – 11:45 a.m. Tuesdays,  February 25 – April 9, 2025 

Rev. Caz Ducros will lead the reading of Rachel Held Evans’ Searching for Sunday: Loving,

Leaving, and Finding the Church. The book is divided into 7 sections based

on the 7 Sacraments of the Church). We will discuss one section per week.
