Christian Meditation changes to Tuesday

The Monday evening Christian Meditation meeting is shifting to Tuesdays from 7:15-8:00 p.m. from January 11 to February 8, inclusive. The Zoom link for Meditation is provided in the weekly email or upon request.

Bible Study continues on Wednesdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. You are most welcome to attend these sessions.

Announcing Changes Starting Christmas 2021 Due to New Public Health Protocol

New RED Public Health Protocol caused by the Omicron variant of COVID-19

SMM Church 4:00 p.m. December 24, 2021 – Christmas Eve

The “in-person ” Christmas Eve Eucharistic liturgy will still go ahead as planned at 4:00 p.m. Space is limited due to the required social distancing. Those attending in person must pre-register by sending an email to Everyone must be double-vaccinated, wear masks, and maintain physical distancing. Congregational singing is not permitted.

The Christmas Eve service can also be accessed by Zoom.

The “RED” protocol of the pandemic will be in effect. Full details are available on the diocesan website at

SMM, Chelsea, 9:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist via Zoom.

Sunday, January 2, 2022, going forward until the “RED” Protocol is lifted.

The Eucharist will be celebrated at SMM at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Farewell for Rev. Cathy Davis

On November 21, 2021 after the Worship Service, we will express our deep gratitude for the work Rev. Cathy has done for our St Mary Magdalene Church community during these very challenging times and will wish her a very joyful “second” retirement. This event will take place in the Church Hall. COVID-19 pandemic restrictions will apply to this event.


St Mary Magdalene Church invites you to join in special services, Zoom coffee hour, Vestry meetings and other events, gatherings and meetings.
